Inspiration
Fish leather is essentially just leather made from leftover fish skin from the fish industry instead of cow or sheep skin from the meat production industry. Making fish leather is an old tradition dating back thousands of years, yet today it is very little used commercially as is it hard to mass produce on a big scale. We believe this to be a strength of the material as it will be optimal for small scale production which we believe to be crucial for a more sustainable future.

We make products out of fish skin to teach our consumers about this almost forgotten trade. Our goal is to be 100% transparent about our products in order to show our customers how much actually goes into a product like this and make our customers reflect on their consumer habits.

Our vision is to change the fishing industry towards a more sustainable practice. We do so not only by working with our consumers, but also by working closely with our suppliers. We help them become more transparent and more aware of issues regarding sustainability and animal welfare.
